A little about myself...

My name is Alice Bettencourt and this is my 6th year teaching preschool here at the Cashman Elementary School.   I have been in the Amesbury public school system for over 15 years in various roles including special education paraprofessional and kindergarten teacher, while I continued my education and became licensed in Early Childhood Education and Moderate Disabilities.

I graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and in 2011 completed a Masters program in Moderate Special Needs at Lesley University.   I live in Somersworth, NH.    I have three children and six grandchildren!  They keep me very busy!  Some of my hobbies are fitness, reading and travel.  I love going to the beach and exploring new places.
