ABOUT ME

  • This is my eleventh year teaching at Amesbury Middle School.  I have taught Spanish, fifth grade Language Arts/Social Studies, and seventh grade Language Arts. I attended Bridgewater State University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Spanish in May of 2006.  I completed my Masters degree in Special Education through American International College in May of 2014 and recently completed my degree in Administration.

I was born in Honduras and came to the United States when I was seven years old, but I grew up in town and have gone through the Amesbury Public School system. When I am not in school, I love spending time with my 2 kids, Isabella and Billy, and my husband Troy. We also have two dogs named Lilly and Rocky Balboa. Some of my favorite things include: Orange Leaf, chocolate, the beach and all things summer.

I am so excited to be teaching Spanish this year! Both Mr. Plante and I are looking forward to be providing sixth grade students with an exploratory Spanish program, and seventh and eighth grade with an opportunity  in completing a level 1 program at the end of eighth grade.

I look forward to meeting you in September!
