My Mathematical World

  • About Mr. Rinaldi

I have been teaching in Amesbury since 1999.  I started off as a fifth grade science teacher and then moved up to sixth grade math.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland - College Park.  I have my Master's Degree in Middle School Mathematics from Lesley University.  I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, playing video games with the kids, and reading lots of books.

The menu bar to the left shows the different sections of the site to help you find what you are looking for.

    1. IMPORTANT - First there is a link to the Blue Team Math letter that has information on my grading, homework policies, extra help, etc.
    2. My Book List.  I am an avid reader and that list shows the books I have read that are appropriate for middle school.  Most of them are available in our school library.  Be sure to check it out if you are looking for something to read.
    3. I have a daily blog.  I use the word "daily" very loosely.  It gets updated every week or two.  I also try to include examples with explanations for students to use as a reference.  Parents who haven't done 6th grade math in a while might also want to check it out. :)
    4. The Links section is pretty self-explanatory.  As I come across interesting things, I may add them as a link.  Some are math related, some are not.  If you think you know something I should link to, just let me know and I'll check it out.
