Grade 2 

    Welcome students, parents, and colleagues

   
     We have designed this site to keep you informed about what is going on in our 2nd grade world. 

    We will be studying and working on many new and exciting things this year. Students in grade two are naturally curious about the world around them. Topics in science and social studies are as hands on and personally relevant as possible to nurture this.  Students take their reading foundations from earlier grades and move from 'learning to read' to 'reading to learn.' Mathematics knowledge expands as students explore tools and new concepts.  As a grade level team, we believe in teaching the "whole child" and want children to become life-long learners.
