Meet Mrs. Kimball

  •    Meet Mrs. Kimball....

Welcome to first grade! Get ready for a VERY exciting year ahead...you should know I LOVE the BEACH in all seasons! Here a few reasons to like the beautiful ocean....

    1) Seashells are beautiful...no two are alike--Just like you...!

    2) Sand may be irritating but once you walk through the hot sand, you arrive at the refreshing water. This is true about learning! Try your best and you'll eventually get there!

    3) Waves--sometimes they are powerful and threaten to knock you off your boogie board but other times they lift you up as you float over them and then leave you asking for more! Education is the same--the thirst for knowledge is AMAZING in second grade and there's so many wonderful things to learn!

I love being a teacher, but when I’m not at school, you can usually find me outsideI especially enjoy biking, running, hiking, and playing tennis. I love living in New England because of all the seasons have to offer. When I'm not "playing" outside, I can be found sipping coffee, reading a good book or cheering on the Patriots. I have 5 amazing children--plus a lovely new daughter-in-law! We are a proud Military and First-Responder family, representing the Army, Air Force, Marines and Firefighters.

I love what I do and I am grateful to you for sharing your children with me. Feel free to email/call me anytime. Here's to a fantastic year!

    Blessings,

    Susan Kimball
