The Amesbury Public Schoolsoffer Supplemental Education Services (SES) to eligible students at Title I Schools who have been identified as in Needs of Improvement, Corrective Action, or Restructuring due to not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) on the MCAS.
For 2011-2012, Amesbury Elementary School is eligible for this service in the area of English Language Arts. Letters will go home to eligible students in mid to late October.
During the 2010-2011 school year, 6 of the eligible 21 students chose to receive these services.
