Marine Biology will take a look at the major Plant and Animal Phyla of the world’s oceans with an emphasis on the Gulf of Maine and Cape Ann. Both vertebrates and invertebrates will be covered. Coastal habitats and their environmental roles with present day issues will be discussed. There may be some dissection. This course is recommended for students with a strong background in science or a strong interest in Biology.
