Greetings! My name is Ms. McGonagle, and I began teaching in 1999 - right here at Amesbury High School. In the past two decades, I have taught freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in core ELA classes, as well as all levels in various ELA electives. My teaching experience further includes private tutoring and instructing at Northern Essex Community College.

My teaching philosophy is that students should be challenged to grow both academically and personally as they navigate their journey through high school. I consider it an honor to be a part of that process. I am passionate about what I do, and I continue to share that passion and excitement year after year.
