If you are a Massachusetts resident and don't already have a Boston Public Library card, you can register for one online.

Register for a Boston Public Library (BPL) eCard in 2 easy steps.

1. Go to eCard Registration on the BPL website.
   
   a. Fill out the form with your Massachusetts address and email.
   
   b. When it asks for a PIN number, select a 4-digit number that is easy to remember (i.e. last 4 digits of your phone number.)
   
   
2. You will receive an email with a eCard number. Save this number along with your 4-digit PIN in a Google Doc titled BPL card number.
